Nagada Drum, 39", with Stand (Item Code: NGDA39-SD) The construction is very much like the kettle-drums which are found throughout the Middle-East. The most common kettle drum in India today is known as the nagada. These drums may be found in different sizes and shapes and played with sticks. The front legs on the stand are shorter than the back legs. This allows the drum to tilt slightly forward allowing the player a better angle of attack on the head. Includes a beater and stand. Measures approximately 39 inches in diameter X 17 inches Deep (990 x 431.8 mm). Actual weight for drum 40 lb (18.1 Kg).
